You don't have time to do everything: This is one of the most common obstacles I come across with entrepreneurs and has absolutely nothing to do with how busy you are, but rather with time management. Unfortunately, many people I meet complain about lack of time when it is not really their fault. To understand the problem, let's go back to our days in high school. If you find that you don't have time to study for a test but still want to get an A, then you should spend more time studying and less time between classes. The same applies with your business; if something is taking up too much of your attention, then devote less time to it and give it some other priority. One other thing worth mentioning here is the importance of creating a system for prioritizing tasks. If you don't have a system set up, then you will find that tasks become overwhelming and too much input is flooding your brain.
2. You have to be better than everyone else: You might be the only person who can do it, but if they are already beating you out, then they will most likely stay ahead of you until someone else comes along and steals your ideas. 3. You are trying to do everything yourself: You can't take on everything, so why even try? Someone has to be the main project manager for your company, so if you are only one person, then you will probably have to delegate certain tasks, but you should still remain in control of the overall goals. As an entrepreneur, you must always remember that no matter who is out there selling their product or service, they could care less about what you are doing.

It's true that running a business takes a lot of time, but if you take the right steps, then you will end up with more free time. Let's face it; if you don't spend your time doing something, then someone else will take it away from you.
First, make things happen! If an idea doesn't work out the first time around, then try again. You can't make everything work out perfectly; at least I can't. And besides, failure is part of the process. If failure is the only measure of success then I would have failed all along.
Second, learn to fail forward. We all go through difficult times, but if you want to succeed, you will have to figure out how to make it through those tough times using your experience. Remember what you did the last time you tried something and make sure that this time around it will work out better.
Third, think outside the box! If there are other ways to do something that are even better than your original idea then use them! You wouldn't be where you are today if others weren't willing to try different ways of doing things.
Fourth, put yourself in the shoes of other people! Think about what you would want someone else to do for you. If wikipedia reference tried to make things easier for someone else, then you will eventually want the same in return.
Fifth, don't forget to listen to your customers! You can't make everyone happy, but most of the time most people are looking for the same thing. If you can provide that they will most likely be satisfied with your company!

Seventh, network with people who can help you reach your goals! Think of it as a team effort: you help them and they help you. This is a win-win situation that will only benefit you in the long run.
